Don't waste those valuable ADI part three tests get your driving instructor training with Grade 6 driving instructor trainer Jon Stone and learn how to pass at the 1st attempt
It's ok telling your pupil to "do this or do that" but without making certain that they ARE actually doing whatever it is you're instructing them to do, they won't understand how important it is and the learning process could be a very slow one, if you don't see a fault you can't fix it
This is the fault ID or the "what" part of the Core Competencies
You then need to analyse the fault Ask yourself "why did the fault happen?" This is the analysis or the "why" part of the core competencies
Now fix the fault, you could do this by explaining what it was that the pupil did incorrectly, the consequences of not doing it correctly, then why it happened followed by how to put it right and that it must be done this way from now on
This is the remedial or the "how" part of the core competencies
In the modern world of driving instruction, the driving instructors personal assistant is an invaluable aid if you are an A.D.I. or P.D.I. awaiting your part three test and you like to keep your pupil records professional and organised . . .using the D.I.P.A.'s unique AND automatic COLOUR CODING system
The nature of the human mind is to be suspicious and critical. If someone does lots of good things and one 'not so good' thing, most people will focus on the 'not so good' thing.
If we are drawn into highlighting the mistakes of others we invite a negative mindset, so focus on the positives in life at all times including when learning to be a driving instructor and do the same when teaching learner drivers

Do you get the feeling that you just don't have enough time to ID and fix the faults on your ADI part 3 test and it all seems to happen so fast that you can't seem to keep up? Check out the recovery course
