Are you a driver with a phobia of motorway driving or just need a little more confidence to get out there and do it?  You are far from being alone with those feelings and of course you aren't getting the full value out of your hard earned driving licence and the high cost of motoring in general.

Motorways can be very daunting even to highly experienced drivers. In wet and windy weather they can be very frightening places to be, especially if there are lots of heavy and fast moving vehicles on the road with you. The spray from large vehicles in particular can be the cause of a major catastrophe for the nervous or inexperienced driver. Vehicles joining from slip roads at high speeds or changing lanes to overtake and even undertake (illegally) can make life hell for the unwary.

Turning off the motorway onto slip roads is a potentially dangerous manoeuvre due sometimes to the rapid deceleration involved or the unplanned sharp bend on the slip road. Multiple lanes and confusing signs can be dangerous if you are not shown the simple and safe techniques of dealing with them.

Lots more will be learned on the motorway driving session, even down to a few tips on advanced driving in general.

Call me for free advice and consider booking a couple of hours (or more) motorway training and/or rural driving in my car or your own car if you choose. Have a refresher driving experience tailored to suit you. You will be shown advanced and safer confidence building driving techniques. We will as time allows drive towards Leeds on the M62 and may even get a chance to join the notorious A1. If you choose to learn about advanced rural driving at the same time (no extra cost involved) we will then navigate back to your home area via complex and winding rural roads.

At the end of the driving you will feel lots more confident and relaxed about motorway and rural driving.
