Once bitten twice shy, I talked to a guy down south on the phone and he wanted a rush job ADI part 3 recovery course as his test was in a few weeks time, he convinced me that he would turn up so I moved my learner pupils around (even cancelled some of them, my learners are aware that I occasionaly may have to do this, but only if they are not close to test standard yet) because his training days where booked inside of 2 weeks I told him to forget the usual £100 cheque deposit and he could pay on the day, (every one else that has not sent a deposit have been very decent and honest and turned up with no probs) on the morning of his first training day he was well overdue so I called his mobile, no answer……I then called his home number and he answered, he lives 200 miles away.
I asked him why he had not come and his reply was “I have personal problems”, I pointed out that all it would have taken was a 10p text to let me know, I could have booked another short notice course as they are in great demand, he didn’t care at all…….if he gets his green badge I feel really sorry for his future pupils, but hey….ultimately he helped me, firstly I had a very pleasant 2 day break and secondly because no way will I accept a booking again without a paypal or cheque deposit.
Congratulations to Shauna from Northern Ireland, she passed the ADI part 3 with another great score of 5-5 in Belfast after a two day recovery course here in Hull
I have been giving driving tips to Stanley Gene the famous rugby player, he is not only a very nice man, he is an excellent and experienced driver already, he just needs a few tips and hints on how to drive to DSA standards in order to get the full british licence
